It was a great day...
Smokerise Baptist Church hosts a really cool car show each spring, on the first Saturday in May. The last couple of years have had challenging weather, but that wasn't the case this year. It was perfect... sunny, warm, with a breeze, especially in the shade. And with the wonderful weather, the cars were out.
This isn't a "themed" show... it is open to all comers. There are rat rods, street rods, motorcycles, restorations, customs... you name it. That is one of the cool things about this show, the variety.
So... take a look at some of the variety, and mark your calendar to hit the show next year.
The garages in most homes are less than spectacular. In fact, a lot of them (including mine... excuse soon) won't even hold a car. They seem to collect all sorts of things, from Christmas decorations to sports equipment. All of that is in addition to tools, lawn equipment and the bulky stuff that won't go elsewhere.
But, most garages are pretty close to being back into 'show shape'. Here is a good place to start... Let's get started.
Listening to the mainstream media, you wouldn’t know that there are at least 10 cars from American car makers that you can wander into the dealership and buy RIGHT NOW that are kicking the butts out from under anything coming out of Japan, Germany, Korea… or anywhere else.

Keeping the theme from yesterday regarding improvements and their return on investment, I thought I might mention a few upgrades/improvements that can be done on a budget AND that will add value to your home.
Have you heard about Fusion 41? Ford is grabbing a handful of social media and leveraging it to promote the 2010 Ford Fusion.
