It was a great day...
Smokerise Baptist Church hosts a really cool car show each spring, on the first Saturday in May. The last couple of years have had challenging weather, but that wasn't the case this year. It was perfect... sunny, warm, with a breeze, especially in the shade. And with the wonderful weather, the cars were out.
This isn't a "themed" show... it is open to all comers. There are rat rods, street rods, motorcycles, restorations, customs... you name it. That is one of the cool things about this show, the variety.
So... take a look at some of the variety, and mark your calendar to hit the show next year.
Have you heard about Fusion 41? Ford is grabbing a handful of social media and leveraging it to promote the 2010 Ford Fusion.

I am a car guy, and I need a business excuse to go to more car shows… I can tell my wife that I am “networkingâ€â€¦ Seriously.
So, to that end, I want to have a new feature on GarageHomesUSA. It will take a little while to spin up to full speed, but here is the plan:
- Visit cruise-ins, car shows and other enthusiast events
- Take pictures
- Shoot video
- Upload pictures and video in a searchable database
- As part of the videos, profile both the cars and the owners

I understand. I really understand. As the father of a four year old and a 4 month old... I understand. As the husband of a wonderful wife that goes back and forth between those ideas, I REALLY understand.
And it is NOT an easy question to answer. Here, let me give you the National Association of REALTORS® party line... Now is a GREAT time to buy!
